Logics instead of logic: POETIC DEBATE ON MONEY(2/6)

Fire 火

Money's evil.
Why?
Money makes you greedier and insecure.
Why?
Because the more you have, the more you want.
Why?
Because money is power.
What's wrong with the power?
Power corrupts.
Not the person with the power.
Oh, yes, power and money will get you.
You mean they'll corrupt me?
Yes.
Can you prove that?
Money can get you a license to kill.
Why?
Money is amoral.
What do you mean?
Money kills people and gets away with it.
Why? Explain.
Because crime pays.
Why?
Because more crime means more jobs for cops and lawyers.
What's wrong?
It improves GDP figures, doesn't it?
I'll tell you what’s wrong. The rich get richer, the poor get poorer.
But the rich give money to the poor, don't they?
If the system works, yes.
What do you mean?
The rich invest without helping the poor.
What bothers them?
The rich don’t like the poor. So they don’t give.
Why?
Because they know the poor don’t like them.
So what? What are you getting at?
To prove money is devilishly strong.

Logics instead of logic:POETIC DEBATE ON MONEY (1/6)

POETIC DEBATE ON MONEY

We have six logics:
rock, fire, wind, water, heaven and earth.
They tell us how to think and act.

Rock 石

Money is good.
Why?
Because it can measure value.
How?
In terms of what can buy.
Food, clothes and shelter.
But you can't buy love, trust and friend.
Oh, yes, you can. You can buy sex.
But not love.
Yes. You could. Nothing you can't buy, is there?
Why?
Money is a means of exchange.
Emotions too?
Measure for measure, yes.
Security, too?
Why not? A store of value.
Be specific.
Why do you buy insurance? As a hedge, right?
Right.
It costs you money, right?
Right.
See? Money's everything in this day and age.
I doubt it.
But that's the way it is.
Well, that's not the way it should be.

Logics Instead of Logic

Logic comes in six energy forms. These forms are the manifestations of engines of logical thinking.

Assuming there is a Logic, there should be alternative logics: water, wind, fire, heaven and earth in addition to the traditional “rock logic,” which has been around since ancient Greek civilization.

                Mind you, a civilization.

With the advent of emerging civilizations, logic seems to have evolved into various forms of logic, or logics for short instead of logic.

Why? Because each and every country has a kind of dominant language and logic.

Give those logics the extension, flexibility and diversity of our ideas and we may expect to find them ‘fleshed-out’ in the following poem and poetic debate, hitherto deemed unthinkable under the rigid rule of a Logic.
